Cryogenic Pipework > More information
Degreased copper tube is the standard material for the conveyance of cryogenic fluids.
It is extremely durable and very flexible. With a vast temperature range, to cryogenic, it is proven to be the most cost efficient and flexible method of installation.
Tube fittings are silver soldered. Our personnel are tested as per the Pressure Equipment Directive to at least BS EN 13133 EN for the soldering of required pipe and fitting material.
All installations are pressure tested to the design pressure with calibrated equipment traceable to a national standard. A test certificate is issued for completed pipelines.
Pipe supports are manufactured in house to suit each project.
Specialised drain valves and process relief valves are incorporated into liquid systems. Specialised equipment, such as gas vents, releasing gas build up in liquid lines and dewar fill points, enabling liquid to be transferred to smaller containers, are available.
